Productivity Commission: Architectural Profession report

The Productivity Commission’s report to the Australian federal government in 2000 focused on increasing fee competition, and deregulating parts of the Architects Act.

This needs some checking yet, but I think the report, as interpreted by the various states and the ®AIA, has resulted in changes to restrictions to words such as “architectural” and to the removal of sliding fee scales.
