Come along and learn more about this iconic 99-year-old Auckland bridge as it prepares to reopen after significant strengthening work.

The strengthening enabled the bridge to form an integral part of the Central Connector – a dedicated busway between the city centre and Newmarket.

Construction on Grafton Bridge began in 1908 and it opened in 1910. At the time, it was regarded as the world’s longest single-span concrete bridge.
