like the white bread tower pic^
blaxploitation building?? or is it too cynical to think white bread baby boomers are shamelessly appropriating the image
  • info
    edited September 2010
@sod - It would be a big stretch to call it blaxploitation - ARM seem more Reverend Ian Paisley than Melvin Van Peebles.

Kevin Rudd and Julia Gillard would definitely both agree with each other about it.

That is the image I had been waiting to see Herr GH. I could not work out how they had obtained planning permission to site it on Victoria St. It looks like he is drinking a glass of milk..

The pic in the Hun shows the building set further North.. maybe The Age visualisers have been at it again.

^^ Glass of milk or poisoned chalice? To me he is sniffing at smoke coming off mirrors.

So why doesn't Grocon redevelop the shrine site into an apartment building and paint some balconies on with a picture of it. It would still be a marxican war memorial according to his design arm.
(know what grocon means in french?!)

^^ ze rechte hand designer gmbh is a doormat for das boots?
  • info
    edited November -1
Everyone is a doormat for the cobbler's boots.

A clear failure of those charged with making the marxican public realm?
This hasn't happened despite the solid endorsements. V
    http://www.peterschipperheyn.com/barak1.htm

Messy opportunity is better than nothing will be the comeback from impoverished marxican elite.

    <p>there's a couple of questions that the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackshirts">black shirt</a> <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bourgeoisie">bourgeoisie</a> need to answer....</p>
<p>someone has let these hacks have 3 goes at this site.....</p>
<p>one telling us "ITS OK", another that looks like an aeroplane has been thrown throught it and this one, the stack of white bread.</p>
<p>why then is there not a three strike policy ?</p>
<p>if the public spine, view corridor, sacred axis, etc. is so important to the rhetoric of the development, leave it alone, don't crowd it out ??</p>
<p>once again there is no cab rank out front ???????</p>

dmc's stick might be the more significant building out of that lot.

limbo's effort not quite the same as lifting/quoting liebskins building - http://www.big.dk/projects/vmcp/vmcp.html

^^ So true its funny per the Can't Come Stick sod.

All a wind up to get Grogan some oxygen for a development going down the toilet with the last flush of international students? Can't see the wobbly balustrades in the way of the view of nothing getting past the real estate agents who will have to sell it to botoxed wrinklies.

Your design for a stumpy knob is on the money bruno. The marxican reality under Can't Come's prosthesis.

love your 3 strikes policy cabbie. its pretty fair.

isn't it plagiarism to do what these hacks are doing?
if you plagarise at university you get kicked out, if you do it in the commerical world take legal action against the person you are plagarising, makes sense?
    ^^^ and greehaus
another classic case of the need for a three strike policy....
