Office Manager / Bookkeeper.

A boutique architectural practice, located in an open plan warehouse studio in the CBD, is seeking an enthusiastic new team member to join a friendly and relaxed office environment.

As their bookkeeper you will be responsible for the management of accounts and payroll, as the office manager your role will encompass a diverse range of tasks and activities and excellent, organizational skills are an essential component of this position.

We are seeking a mature, experienced team member with a sense of humor, ability to work autonomously, pleasant phone manner and flexibility to assume varied responsibilities.

Roles and responsibilities will include;

• Prepare accurate and well presented documents including general correspondence, financial reports, minutes and agendas.
• Provide timely and accurate secretarial support to the 2 company directors
• Carry out additional general administration tasks as required.
• Prepare BAS and PAYG returns
• Fortnightly payroll processing for 12 staff
• Preparation of employment contracts and other HR duties as required.
• Liaising with external accountant
• Reception and telephone duties.
• IT basic system administration
• Communicate with clients
• Participate in the development and implementation of general office systems and procedures
• Advanced Proficiency Quick Books
• Proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Project.
• Proficiency in Adobe PS, Illustrator and Indesign desirable but not essential.

The ability to work as part of a small team to deliver services in a professional and friendly manner is essential. This is a varied and responsible role where you will be required to work consistently with minimal supervision to ensure important deadlines are consistently met.

Salary is negotiable according to experience.
