Healthy cities

Imagine this - students sharing ideas across faculty boundaries!
Associate Professor Susan Thompson, of the University of NSW, has brought architecture, planning, landscape and medical students together to hear each other's perspectives on the interaction between urban design and human health. She has sent out mixed groups of students, plus people who already work in the health sector, to conduct health audits of small suburban neighbourhoods in the Randwick area.

Really great to read something about interdisciplinary. I think every professiıon could be more effective to see the other sides. Especially, professions based on design needs these to discover the sides, the needs, the problems.... from another view.
