Building Asia Brick by Brick
ArtAsiaPacific and People's Architecture are pleased to announce their collaboration in Building Asia Brick by Brick, a landmark cultural and educational experience featuring unique models made by the Asia Pacific's leading architects using custom sets of white LEGO® bricks, with a special contribution by Ai Weiwei. The exhibition will begin as part of Get it Louder! a touring festival of new international design opening at Guangzhou's Grandview Mall on June 23. Get it Louder! will then travel to Shanghai, Beijing and Chengdu.

Building Asia Brick by Brick originates from a special feature in ArtAsiaPacific no. 49 (June, 2006) for which nine leading Asia and Pacific architectural firms created original models from custom kits of white LEGO® bricks. The touring exhibition will include the original models and additional models that ArtAsiaPacific and People's Architecture have commissioned from China's most exciting architects.
