On you Open House

For those in Melbourme too set in their Sunday ways to make it, Open House was the place you should have been. According to one volunteer, it was four times the size of last year’s. The concept is pretty basic – open up private buildings to the public for the day, and let them see what’s behind the facade. My visit concentrated on the rapidly growing part of town that is Docklands. Not necessarily growing very well, but there are some gems in the dirt.
