WANTED: Bold, innovative and creative ideas to transform our river foreshore
Parramatta City Council is delighted to invite you to participate in an exciting new ideas competition ‘Ideas on Edge’.
We are searching for the best ideas for the revitalisation of an important 2Ha precinct on the edge of the Parramatta CBD along its river frontage.
By entering you will not only be contributing to Council’s proposed redevelopment plans, but you will also be in the running for prizes in the following categories:
Design Award – $50,000 for the best overall presentation of a coherent and potentially deliverable concept
Arts Award – $10,000 for the best artistic response
Student Award – $5,000 for the best student entry 25 years or under undertaking tertiary studies
Commendation – $5,000 to be awarded at the Jury’s discretion
Submissions will be limited to one A1 page and the competition closes on Wednesday 11 May 2011 at 12 noon.
