Group houses under threat

There are two important and original houses designed by the Group
on the market for sale that are very likely to be demolished.

They are:
Bill Wilson house 5A Castle Drive Epsom, Auckland (1964)
Ivan Juriss house 385 Riddell Rd Glendowie (1961 - 62)

    Here's a recent article on the Castle Drive house - better look quickly as the NZ Herald now locks the articles up after a week or so (which is why NZ coverage has had to virtually disappear from this website).

    News just in from a spy in Auckland:
    Great news on the Ivan Juriss house. The real estate agent called me to say that so many architects cane to the house and educated him on its importance that he then passed this on to his clients and now it has been sold to the sister of an architect who wants to keep it in original condition and has already engage[d] architecture services from a group of architects who specialise in heritage buildings.
